Welcome to Sarah Phillips Counselling. I'm a fully qualified BACP registered Counsellor based in Wokingham, passionate about counselling and the benefits it can bring to our lives.

Counselling can offer a safe space for you to explore what’s on your mind. A confidential relationship without any judgement or advice, focusing on your needs.

As well as working through difficult times, counselling can support you to gain a better understanding of yourself. A clearer picture of who you want to be, increased awareness of relationships and thoughts about the future.

In addition to working in private practice, I am also a lecturer at Basingstoke College, teaching a BACP Counselling skills course. I volunteer as a Counsellor at Reading College supporting young adults and a local counselling charity providing counselling to young people.

How I work

I'm an Integrative Counsellor, which means I combine different theories, ways of working to best meet your needs. The foundation of my practice is 'Person Centred.' I see you as a unique individual, understanding your personal experiences, supporting you to find the best outcomes. We will work together at your pace, focusing on what’s right for you. I often work with Solutions Focused techniques to support you to identify change. I also have experience of working with CBT, Existentialism, Transactional Analysis and Psychodynamic.

I offer face to face counselling and online video sessions to suit your needs.
