Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be experiencing anxiety, stress or panic. Feeling lonely, misunderstood, or trying to cope with the effects of childhood trauma or a significant life change. Perhaps you find yourself repeating familiar patterns, struggling in relationships, or a sense of feeling lost or unfulfilled.

Welcome to Sarah Phillips Counselling. I'm a fully qualified BACP Counsellor based in Wokingham. I've been awarded BACP Accreditation, a recognised higher standard of professional excellence and ethical practice.

Together, we can begin to make sense of what may be causing your distress. Identify grounding and coping strategies. Explore patterns in your thoughts and behaviours. Reflect on how you would like your life and relationships to feel different moving forward. I offer a free introductory call to discuss your needs and see if we would work well together.

In addition to private practice, I have lectured on a professional counselling course at Basingstoke college of Technology and volunteered as a counsellor at Reading College and Youthline.

My main approach is Person Centred and Internal Family Systems, supported by CBT, Transactional Analysis and Psychodynamic modalities. I have extensive experience supporting clients to identify unconscious patterns of behaviour and how this impacts life and relationships.
